The Business Education Compact (BEC), a non-profit organization whose mission is “to bring local businesses and schools together to provide real-world, hands-on learning experiences that expand opportunities for historically underserved students,” is offering a free book for teachers seeking to implement student-centered/personalized learning in their classroom or school.
BEC is offering a free electronic copy of “It’s About Time: A Framework for Proficiency-based Teaching and Learning” by Diane Smith to all Oregon teachers and administrators.
